I have been involved in coaching and conflict resolution for the last 25 years both formally and informally. My background is in education and after earning a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction I worked as a behavioral consultant and in special education, particularly for those students with concurrent behavioral and learning disabilities. I completed a Certificate in Conflict Resolution through the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society (AAMS), then also completed the family training through the Legal Education Society of Alberta. From there I focused in on transformative and facilitative mediation and now provide trainings and workshops on conflict resolution, mediation and effective communication. Since then I have practiced family and divorce, EEO and workplace mediations as well as conflict resolution training.
As a coach I work with professionals in executive roles as well as entrepreneurs, professionals and teachers as well as administrators. In my role as an executive coach, I have worked with mid to upper level managers through to entry level employees in various industries and professions. Through coaching, executives, professionals and educators are able to explore options, identify areas of strength, and work to enhance areas of interest as well as personal and professional goal development.
